I have made the difficult decision to postpone the Spring Youth Flag Football Season. The decision to suspend this program is intended to ensure that we do our part to encourage social distancing in an effort to help protect the community from the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). My highest priority is the health and well-being of all people involved with our flag football program. This situation will require all of us to work together to navigate this uncharted territory. I am confident, like other challenges presented to our community in the past, that we will come out stronger as a result. The season will start when Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey and Arizona State Superintendent Kathy Hoffman announce the reopening of all Tempe Elementary Schools.
